Rates & Cancelation
Retention of Services As A Mediator
- Time spent at the mediation
- Preparation for the mediation
- Preparation of documents after the mediation
- Discussions and telephone conferences with all parties involved, before, during, or after the mediation
The following minimum charges apply:
- A minimum of 2 hours for half-day mediation
- A minimum of 4 hours for full-day mediation
- Additional time may be charged for any necessary preparation
The fee is to be split evenly between the parties.
Cancelation Policy
For cancellations made within seven days or less of the scheduled mediation, a minimum fee of $1,000 for a scheduled half-day or $2,000 for a scheduled full-day mediation will be charged to the party responsible for the cancellation. If both parties agree to the cancellation, the fee will be divided between the parties.
Biography
A Career Dedicated to Advocacy and Service
For more than four decades, David M. Morrison has built a respected career as a trial lawyer and advocate for injured Arizonans. Since opening his own practice in 1991, he has represented plaintiffs in hundreds of personal injury and administrative matters, earning a reputation for thorough preparation, fairness, and unwavering commitment to his clients.
Dave’s background includes more than 40 jury trials and over 400 arbitrations, along with extensive experience in mediation and administrative hearings. Early in his career, he represented both plaintiffs and insurance companies, including serving in-house with Continental Insurance Company. This broad perspective continues to inform his approach to negotiation and dispute resolution today.
Beyond his plaintiff’s work, Dave has represented the Arizona Association of Chiropractic since 1991, handling legislative drafting, lobbying, member relations, and governance matters. He has also served as counsel for two chiropractic malpractice insurance carriers, representing insureds in both malpractice and day spa defense cases. His decades-long involvement in administrative law includes representation of chiropractors before their licensing board for more than 30 years.
Dave’s professional dedication has earned him recognition across the chiropractic legal community. A long-standing member of the National Association of Chiropractic Attorneys, he was named Chiropractic Attorney of the Year in 1998. He is also a Past President of the Arizona Association of Healthcare Lawyers, where he served on the Board for five years.
Throughout his career, Dave has maintained a “family first” philosophy—valuing integrity, empathy, and personal connection in every case he handles.
Community Involvement
A lifelong supporter of organizations including the USO, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (former Board Member), Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Special Olympics, Dave values giving back to causes that strengthen his community. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and pickleball and spending time with his family.
